As a gaming executive and founder of two publishing companies, Wha Entertainment Inc. and Got Game Entertainment Inc., I’ve navigated the industry’s highs and lows, witnessing both success and failure firsthand. Drawing on my experiences, I was part of Nintendo’s groundbreaking revival, proving that innovation and strategic execution could save an industry from collapse. After the fall of Atari, gaming was considered a failed experiment, but Nintendo redefined the market with a new platform and a compelling hook, demonstrating how technology can reinvent itself.
Throughout my career, I’ve played a key role in shaping the gaming industry. Drawing on my experiences, I was instrumental in launching Grand Theft Auto on PC, securing major movie entertainment licensing deals, and leading high-stakes contractual negotiations that shaped successful game releases. At the time, I held a leadership role at Sierra On-Line, the number one PC game company in the entertainment industry, where I gained firsthand experience in scaling a gaming powerhouse. I also spearheaded the North American expansion of Codemasters, establishing its New York City presence as VP of Sales.
I’ve been part of some of the most iconic AAA game releases in gaming history, from Super Mario Brothers to Final Fantasy, The Legend of Zelda, and Castlevania. These legendary titles set the foundation for modern gaming, and my experiences working alongside industry pioneers have given me deep insight into what makes a game successful—handling production costs, global sales strategies, and the challenges of scaling a game studio worldwide.
